Mexico. Virtual Media was the company in charge of a project to contribute political content in the most important square in Mexico, the Zócalo. In this project, they offered the best quality content contribution for presidential candidate Claudia Sheinbaum, through an end-to-end 4K distribution solution for all their social media and news outlets.
"To achieve this goal, we implemented a wide range of cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions. We installed cinematic lighting and a 4K CCTV, using two-thirds broadcast Panasonic cameras and long lenses to capture every detail accurately. In addition, we deployed a 50-foot technocrane crane with three long lenses to ensure close-up and medium-close shots of the candidate," Eduardo Echeverría, CEO of Virtual Media, explained to TVyVideo+Radio.
He added that "In terms of communication and logistics, we provide more than 72 Clear Com wireless headbands, divided with a matrix to coordinate production, direction and logistics efficiently. We guarantee optimal connectivity with four redundant symmetrical internet lines of 1000 megabytes each and distribute wi-fi for up to 5000 people, taking advantage of a captive portal to promote the candidacy and redirect the public to its website."
In addition, they contributed to the multi-platform and multi-account by distributing information in real time and managing a digital tent where videos alluding to the candidate's speech were controlled. A control room equipped with three Adobe Premiere machines enabled immediate editing and distribution of political content in real time.
"This project represents a milestone in the contribution of political content in Mexico, where Virtual Media had the privilege of implementing state-of-the-art technology to help promote dialogue and citizen participation on social media. Our company is proud to have been selected to carry out this initiative, thus demonstrating our commitment to innovation and excellence in the Mexican audiovisual industry," concluded Eduardo Echeverría.
